My family just got a brand new 07' 236 it was one of the last three from 07' its never been used and fully loaded. We got a great price and we got CC to put the new 08' speakers, board racks, crest graphic, and Zero off on it. They barly charged us for it becasue they sold the 07' stuff that they took off of it (so now it is almost a 230). Plus our dealer showed us this new custom crest carpet and we had to get. We are the first to get it in a 236 and i think one of about 4 boats that have it. I havent seen the boat yet but i know its gona be sick. (considering im moving from a 81 ski nautique with a custom tower, that my dad bought with 12,000 cash 27 years ago) But i was wondering if anyone else has seen the crest carpet and what they think about it? Also what should i do for my surf wake in this 236? I have only surfed twice on a friends boat but i know i will pick it up fast cause i have been skiing/wakeboarding sence i was 6.

The crst Carpet is a new option just released... it is not embroidered but a printed carpet. Attached is some pics we snapped of it at dealer meeting. It might not be for everyone but I love it and have ordered it on all of my stock Super Airs (only available on the super air range)...

- close enough to the lake to be able to run in and grab a beer, but far enough not to pay the taxes!!
for the wake surf, we are trying to figure out a way to bungee it to the tower, right above the driver. we have only been out twice since we got the wake surf at Christmas, but it doesn't fit in the racks (son of a...), it is too big for the "holes in the floor", and it is annoying (and makes us look like rednecks) if we bungee it to the engine cover/padded deck thing (i'm pretty sure that's not the name for it, but you get my drift). another option i thought of was to cut a swim noodle up and slide it on the top of the rack forks and bungee it on there, but again, i don't want to make my $55000 investment look like its held together with duct tape! but bungeed to the bottom of the top of the tower, you can't see it as it is also under the bimini that snaps on the top of the tower.
ok. its getting too late. i feel like i might be rambling, but let me know if you come up with any better options!
thanks!!!

wow ray! did you even understand the question ? I believe dan was asking how to set up his boat to wake surf. not where to put his board, but there are many companies who make nice board racks for your CC. (air boom and 2insane make some really nice ones, I personally have an air boom on my 236 to carry my shred stixx) dan my 236 throws a monster swell and I would be glad to take some pics and e-mail them to you soon ( I use fly high sacs as well as the factory ballast.

236Russ, what shredstixx do you have? I am buying one from him, and pretty sure i want the Thresher Shredder.
Raygunclan, your location is hilarious. I am located exactly the same. 200 feet from my dock and I pay no taxes on the fact that I have 800 feet of lakeshore.the WakeSlayer

236- i guess i didn't really get his post. when he asked what he should do for his wake surf, well, i guess i was just figuring that he wanted to know what he should do about his wake surf. this is a problem we are having on our 220, as it doesn't fit in the wakeboard racks. but that's great that you've got it all figured out! it worked out well for me because i got some ideas.
mikeski-that is great how you have yours bungeed to the top of your rack. that, unfortunately, won't work for us as our bimini snaps on the top of the tower. i'll have to send my hubby out there to figure it out!
wakeslayer-we aren't quite as lucky as you! our next door neighbors are lakefront and our backyard neighbors are lakefront (and both pay over 10k a year in taxes!) and they both let us use their dock! but 800 feet of shoreline? shaq doesn't even have 200!! that is awesome!!! and you have 200 feet of backyard! sweet!!!
