    Ski Nautique vs. Sport Nautique

Are late 90's Ski & Sport Nautiques the same hull (with the sport having an open bow)? If not, what are the differences?

When I bought my Sport in July of '93, it was the stretched Ski hull. Ski Nautique is a shorter hull. The Sport is 21'6" while the Ski was 19'6" in either a closed or open bow configuration in '93. See this link for some brochures.

Go to the reference section for the available years. Hope this helps. BTW, I love the size of my Sport.

The Sport Nautique from 1994-1997 used the same hull as the 90-96 Ski Nautique. In 1998, CC put the TSC hull under the Sport and used the TSC hull until 2002. The Ski Nautique used the TSC hull from 1997-2001. The Sport is 21 feet from 1994-1997 and the Ski Nautique is 19'6". From 1998-2002, the sport was 20'2". In 2003-current, the sport is 21'6". All of these measurements are without the platform.
      Hope this helps.

Unlikely. All the packing gland does is let the drive shaft pass through to the strut while keeping most of the water out. If you're getting vibration, it's most likely the prop. If it has even a TINY ding in one flute, it'll vibrate. Or if it's been repaired and not balanced properly it'll vibrate.

While mostly correct a couple things worth pointing out. The 1998-2002 was not 20'2".

While the 1998+ Sport was renamed as a TSC hull, the hull was not based on the TSC Ski hull. It was a slightly modified version of the 1994-1997 Sport (NWZ Hull). There seems to be very little information on if these changes made much difference to the wakes of the Sports.
