G25 extra ballast

Here is what I tried this weekend...Full stock (rears and center) plus two 900lb bags in the back piggybacked on the stock bags. I added 700lbs of leadwake bags. 150lbs tucked in the very nose, 200 in port side bow storage about midway back, 150lbs in starboard side bow storage midway way back, and 200lb by trash can for prop rotation. So I had 5350lbs in ballast but only 3 adults and 1 teen. The 3 women and 2 teens bailed because the weather was sketchy. I was really happy overall with the wave. It didn't wash out. Looking to get more length though. I only ran 11.8mph as I thought NSS capped out 12mph. Seems it caps out at 13mph so I am going to experiment more with speed this coming weekend. I also may try 1/2 full on center ballast as well. Plus I will have 9 teens and two adults in the boat. The only complaint I have is all the extra ballast up front did accentuate the known bow spray issue. It was never a real problem last year. Oh and it sucked gas....

In about a week and will get back to trying to find the perfect weight distribution. I'm also thinking that sometimes if I know I don't want to play around with switching I will try leaning will full 1100 on port side (I'm regular) and differing weight on starboard to see what it's like?

Yes I agree that the breaker is over sized. The wire going from the breaker to the pumps is 10 awg so I'm pretty sure the breaker will pop in a short circuit but I'll probably change to a 40 amp just to be safe. I had originally planned to install individual button style breakers for each pump but changed my mind during the install. I had the ballast breaker laying around in the garage so I used it to get the system going without having to wait on parts.

10 awg is only rated for 30 amps. That is the breaker size you need. If you draw 30+ amps your 40/50/60 amp breaker will not trip and your wire WILL burn up. Change that breaker ASAP.

So after 50 hours of playing with the wake I have got close to what seems to work the best for me. Full stock ballast, 650lbs of water under front seats plus 600lbs of led weight (400 equally split in the nose and 200 under passenger seat by stereo to offset prop rotation), rear 1100lbs extra bags about 1/4 full and 0 and 5 for nss and ncrs settings. If you go with any more weight in the back it just becomes way too hard to dial in the wake without wash out and the motor has to run over 4000 RPM which causes an incredible fuel burn. Will continue playing with it and update if I change anything.

Here is a photo of the biggest wake so far, full everything and 12.7 mph, 0 nss and 5 ncrs, this is my son and he is 6"1". It is awesome but the truth is you really don't need it and if you surfed like this all the time the fuel burn would be incredible.

Hope it is okay to revive an old thread. I have a 14 G25 and considering adding some additional weight. Have a few questions and would appreciate any guidance.
Was it hard to piggyback off of hard tanks in the back and bow?
Is 900 lbs in each for back enough?
Do you have to reset the settings for the pumps to keep pumping?
Where did you all get the bags from, Wakemakers?
With stock we run NCRS at 5 and NSS at 5 and speed of 10.8-11.0 for daughter because she likes it steep but it isn't very long.

Seems like you guys run very fast so may play around with speed. When I try and mess with NCRS wave washes out bad and NSS at 0 the wave is tiny. Any thoughts and advise would be appreciated.
