I did a very comprehensive volume calculation on my G23, to see how much weight was possible under the front seats, including the area up into the gunwales behind the cupholders, etc.. Even with excluding the entire area that the recessed cupholder/speaker trim takes up, the best that a G23 could get is 550ish pounds for the entire bow under the seats. I know the G25 has a slightly longer bow, so you might get 650. That said, my calculations excluded the area taken by the cupholder/speaker, so it would be less.
If you do bags that just sit on the floor in the front compartments, and don't tuck up into the gunwales, the best you will get is probably about 350-400lbs in a G25.

You should be able to run extra no problem. I have over 2000# extra in my G23. I have done this to 2 G's now. I have added two new water intakes next to stock location and 2 ballast puppy pumps wired to independent switches. Boat gets on plane no problem. Thru-hull pick ups and shut off ball valves were ordered from Nautiqueparts.com and are the same ones used by the factory.

G25 extra ballast
Hello,
I just purchsed a 2016 G25 and as it it my 3rd Nautique thought it was time to join this forum.
My question is about additional ballast on top of stock. On my old 230 I would have it so sacked out and leaning that the water would leak into the engine vent if I turned too quickly but the wake was awesome, half of my family is regular and the other half is goofy and I got sick of switching bags all day. Is there anyone here who has had experience really weighing down a G25? If so is there such thing as too much and how did you weigh it? I have the 550 with the 2:1 ratio so power should not be a problem.
Any info would sure be appreciated.
