I installed the wake makers kit in my 18 GS22. I also added a 675 bag in the bow to make the same longer. The wake is huge and long. Well worth the install. It cleans the wake up nicely. I also installed an OJ 15x14 prop. Well worth it.

      Excellent!

Which bag did you use for the bow? & did you plumb it inline with the front hard tank?

i was planning to buy lead bags for the bow, but i would rather have all bags so that i'm not toting the extra weight around all the time

I ordered the wakemakers kit today for the rear. i will get that installed and then decide my next step(s)

I'm in the middle of the Wakemakers install on my 2017 GS22. The drain/fill connection is pretty straight forward but I'm struggling with the vent.overflow line. Since my thru-hull fitting runs forward I can't make all the connections without some serious kinking. Did you have to make any modifications to get the vent line connected? Thanks,

Pulled out of the whole better fully loaded. Did not loose any top speed since the prop is a larger diameter.

can anybody post the install instructions for the wakemakers piggyback system?
mine arrives tomorrow, but I want to have everything ready when I go out to the boat.
                thanks

On my 2015 210 I found a posting (on this board, I think) with the dealer settings unlock code. In the settings you can set the option letting it know you have the pro ballast (adds 250 lb per side on the 210) and another option for the "quaga" filter. A flow-obstructing filter is apparently required in some states to keep invasive species known as "quaga" out of the ballast system. The effect of making that setting is to compensate for the slower flow by extending the pump time and adjusting the calculation of lbs / minute accordingly for displaying the estimated lbs of ballast on board.

I don't know about the G series, but I just swapped out the 250lb sumo-sacs that were in my 210 for some 500lb 60x20x10 bags from Wakemakers. They are a bit constricted in the space, so likely holding bit less than 500 lbs each. In terms of plumbing, they are only connected at the back bottom of the bag to a T inserted inline with the main fill line at the back/bottom of the hard tank. On the 210 with the L-shaped hard tanks, the bag is not vented. The vent at the top of the L on the hard tank is already higher than the bag.

Yes, I just installed the wakemakers system in 2019 GS22 and I have no idea what is in my hard ballast. It sounds like pumps are running dry but the system says I still have water in the ballast. When looking at piggy back bags they are almost empty. When I shut down boat and restart it says I have water in ballast still. We turn back on and water is coming out. Would be great if Nautique could make a program change for wakmakers bags, system was flawless prior to new bags. Wave is amazing with new bags, so at least that part was worth it.

I recently installed the wakemakers custom bags in our 2019 gs22 and have not had any problem with draining. I have filled and drained the bags on 6 different occasions. I did reset the timers and enabled the quagga filter option, so that the fill time would increase. I still have to hit the fill for both lockers as the bags only fill to about 50%. I am not sure that this has anything to do with draining but might be worth looking into. If you do a search you will find the dealer code to enter the setup screen.

i think my sensors are taking a dump. i have my wakesurf profiles set to fill 60% rear tanks. i have enabled the quagga filter selection.
when my pumps shut off, the bags are nearly full.
the other day, my starboard reading went from 50% to 100% in about 1 second.
also, my boat seems to list slightly to the port side. I reactivated the port pump, and it seemed to pump a bunch more water out even though the gauge read 0%

We have a 2018 GS 22 and I thought the factory wake for surfing was totally unsatisfactory. We added the two wakemakers factory ballast upgrade kits ( 800 lbs per side) and plumbed in to the existing fill drain and vent lines following their instructions after they sent me the wrong instructions twice. Once I got it all dialed in I used the code 9191 to get in to the dealer settings and change the quagga filter setting which changes the run time. in spite of doing everything properly we had Lots of issues with that set up and we continually had tanks that were not draining or faulty sensor readings. In the end it became simply too frustrating to deal with it and I just disconnected it from the boat system And added an external pump that we throw off the side to fill or drain the bags. A little more of a pain to fill and drain the bag but not nearly as much of a hassle as we were experiencing with the sensor and bags and tanks not properly draining or faulty sensor readings. Now we have a pretty decent surfing waves but I still wish I bought a G boat!
