Our '19 gs22 w\ pro ballast and 200lbs of lead wake has a much bigger and better shape than the '18 we demoed without. Loving it so far, now we just need the weather and water to finally warm up.

Im just joining this thread. curious where u are putting your 200lbs of lead on your GS22? We are having a 2019 GS22 w/pro ballast delivered later this week. Super stoked! Any other wake surf advice on ballast configuration would be greatly appreciated.

i have 100# under the port observers seat, the other 100# in the front of the bow.
I just removed my pro ballast bags and installed Wakemakers 800# bags. the wave is a Tsunami now...
Nautique apparently reconfigured the pro ballast bag/setup. Wakemakers is using my boat as a template for a new kit. They should be available soon. They installed a temporary setup with the old bags to get me on the water.

I usually surf NSS 0, NCRS 2-4 depending on how many people in the boat. I think with this new setup, I will be more like 3/3, 2/2. 11.5-11.6 mph

We have been running 150lbs of leadwake under observer and 100lbs of leadwake in front of each rear locker bag. Wave is great but I am not digging the 350lbs of leadwake when I ski. Probably going to the wake makers bags this winter. We have been running around 11.6 mph and have been up to 12.5 mph

its a great boat. there are a lot of naysayers, but I really don't think they have much, if any time behind one. I think it is perfect for those who want to do it all.

You are putting 100# in the bow or in front of the stern lockers?

So 100# under the port Observer seat and 100# in the bow (or is this in front of stern lockers)? Total 200#
