I'm looking at adding extra ballast to my 2020 G23 for next season. I wanted to get 2 large sacs that will go in the rear storage compartments. They would plumb into the current system and would fill seamlessly when the other tanks are full. They would also drain the same way. This would give us the option of using that storage when the sacks aren't filled. We could also drain them for any longer trips up the lake to conserve fuel. Our dealer suggested we just get sacks that we would fill with a pump we stick in the lake. Then leave the sacks full all summer and only fill the current ballast tanks as needed.
I knowshý there is the option of lead weight etc. But that is not something I want to get into right now. Thanks in advance for your help.
Does anyone have any experience with either? What do you think is the better option? I know there is a cost difference but I lime the idea of having them plumbed into the system. It seems easier and more tidy to me.
Thanks in advance for your help.
