    2021 GS22 Surf Wave Setup?

Just upgraded to a ‘21 GS22 and am having trouble cleaning up the starboard side of the wave. Have a fairly large rooster tail coming out of the middle and the crest of the wave washes out and isnt clean. Any suggestions? Have the Pro surf setup (2,950 lbs total ballast) and have no extra weight in the boat. Typically only have 3 adults in the boat. If i set the wave setting past 6, the wave gets worse. Running at about 11.5 mph. Any suggestions? Do I need to add lead bags??

we haven't played with the starboard side much on our GS20, as we are all regular footed. Planning to try it out on that side next time out.

surfing port we have no issues, but as I mentioned in a few other threads, the best tip we got for dropping rope was to slow down from the factory settings - we backed off to 10.5mph and that made all the difference.

regarding your wave settings, I assume you are referring to the NSS rather than the NCRS? on our 2017 our settings are only 0-5.

Running a 2020 with the pro ballast, and 600lbs of lead usually 4 people in the boat. The lead we have 200 lbs front (200) per side, 150 under the observers seat through the battery compartment and 150 under the drivers seat through where the garbage can is. We Run 100 % Starboard 70% port NCRS 2 to 4 NSS 0 11.4 to 11.6 depending on rider wave is crisp and clean. The new hull design is amazing. Lots of push no white water or lip.

I run at 10.6-10.8 also for surfers on the goofy side behind my boat.
