2007 206 Lots of ballast - no push

    Hi All,
I have 900# on the swim platform and 900# in the rear locker. Then I have 750# in the bow.

    Mission 2.0

The hyperlink video below shows a clean wave but the push is not consistent. Causing us to always hold the rope.

(Never tried to post a hyperlink before- hope it works?!)

    Any guidance is appreciated!
    Thx..

For my 2004 216 (direct drive, same as yours) I found that listed worked significantly better. This was my setup
400 rear locker on the surf side
750 next to motor on surf side
Passengers shifted toward surf side to make sure we had a good list.
Some weight up front depending on # of passengers
Hydrogate forward when surfing port. Back on starboard
    Speed around 10
Getting a good wave on port is challenging due to prop rotation.
Make sure you have a decent size board.

Yikes...lotta weight y'all got in that boat.

        This thread may help.

Yeah, I’m trying to force it with lots of ballast.

All this advice will allow me to finesse the ballast with less weight in the right location .

          Thank you !

We finally found a system to produce a “surfable” wave behind my 2007 SN 206.

Surf Mode uses 2 wings to produce the wave. There are many youtube videos. More importantly, they provide a 30-day money-back guarantee that you can surf with their system.

The owner, Bryan, offered to guide me during the setup and was on the phone with me - on a Sunday - to refine my setup!

Ballast is now 500# in the port side ski locker and 1000# on the port rear side/ seat.

The wave is not huge but certainly has a strong push.
            Please see the video below.

I hope this helps anyone struggling with wave setup.
