Unfortunately my 2017 GS20 burned up in a warehouse fire a couple of days ago (along with 35 additional boats and some sports cars). I am now forced to order another boat and looks like delivery date could be a problem. I wonder if I could ask a few questions:
1) The GS20 was good for skiing (I ski at 30 to 32 MPH and only 15 off). At 22 off I was skiing through the bump and so it wasn't feasible. Do you know what I would find at these speeds and line length for the GS22? For example, would the 2022 GS22 have harder or bigger slalom wake then the 2017 GS20? Where would the bump be on the GS22 - would it come into play at 22 off, 15 off, and/or at faster speeds (up to 34?). If you don't know, is there a way to find out through Nautique?
2) The GS20 was ok for surfing but I struggled with 360's and didn't have problems behind wakesetters. Does the GS22 have a much better wave (it seems implied in the brochures and social media, but is that at a big penalty to the slalom wake)?
3) Whichever boat I order it will be customized. What is the best delivery date that could be had? Are there some dealers that can provide a quicker delivery date?
