What setup (if any) can be used to surf a 94 excel?

Not really. I had one and could never really get a good wave out of it. Tried little to lots of weight - and moving it around in different places. Thise boats were way ahead for their time (with the V drive set up and open floor) but a surf wave was not their forte... Is was not even popular back then... God I'm old.

Possibly with a shaper and weight… probably wouldn’t expect much
