I never had the pro ballast system installed in my 210 and recently had my mechanic put in the wakemakers system. The bags are filling 1st and then the overflow from the bags goes to the hard tank. On the wakmaker's site it says the hard tanks fill 1st and then the bags. I'm exchanging some emails with wakemakers support, and they're saying there is a T fitting that fills both at the same time. This is not what I wanted or expected. Unfortunately I just had my mechanic do it. For those of you that have the wakemakers piggy back bags, especially on a late model 210, can you confirm how your bags work? Are the hard tanks supposed to completely fill 1st and then the bags or not?

The tanks fill first then the bags for sure is the correct way, They must have something wrong.Last edited by ScooterMcgavin; 07-15-2022, 05:40 PM.2009 Super Air Nautique 210 TE

Connect the vent for the tank to the bag and then vent the bag to the overboard vent

That's what I thought. Wakemakers got back to me saying, " Your boat would have the L shaped hard tank which means the way the Pro ballast is set up that bag fills at the same time as the tank and they will level out as they fill to reach the top at the same time."

Hey Scooter, do you run with lead or additional weight to compensate for the belly ballast as well?

I didn't even have pro ballast before and couldn't even drop the rope. Now I can. It is much better. The bummer is that you lose that storage space when the bags are full. I plan to take a pic of my wake and will post here and another group. I vaguely remembered someone posting with the same setup, but their wave looked better. I run with ncr/plan assist off, NSS at 0 (max) 10.6mph, Full belly, back bags mostly full - maybe 75% on the side I'm not surfing, and 200lbs of led bags up front under the seats. I usually have the equivalent of maybe 3 to 4 adults.
