Just starting our second season with our 2022 S21 and feel like we’ve found an ideal ballast set up after variable results last year. Quite often we were finding the top of the wave messy last year and I felt it may have been due to too much ballast. This year I hit factory settings and started driving as the ballast was filling, we found it really clean at 50% in all tanks, we then stopped port and starboard but filled the belly to 100% and it kept it clean but lengthened it. Speed is 11.6mph and wave setting 4. We’ve ran this with 4-8 people on board so far and got great results each time. I’m also running LPG now with tanks in both of the rear storage compartments so that is adding a bit of additional ballast too.
