Adding Surf Select to 2020 GS22

I'm picking up my next boat in a few days. It's a 2020 GS22 that has Pro ballast, but no surf select. When I asked the dealer if I could add this prior to pick up, he told me it would cost $1000 to do that. But I looked at the parts, and the antenna transmitter/receiver is only $400. I believe this boat comes wired for this option. Is that true? If I hook up the transmitter antenna, will the system work with my Garmin watch or do I need other equipment or software to make that work?

I didn’t order the Surf Select option with my GS22, instead I bought just the module. The dealer installed it when my boat came in.

It's a matter of mounting the SS module to the bulkhead panel, connecting the wiring and then going into the Dealer Menu and set "Surf Select" to "Yes."

That's it.

So I finally installed the receiver and I have the watch, but the Linc doesn't see the surf select system. It's grayed out. How do I activate it via the dealer menu? Do I need the dealer code? I can make the boat activate the surf select system and can't pair the watch.

NVM i found it Code is 9191 then scroll down and activate the Surf Select. It works and it's fun.
