Swapping in Bags for Factory Tanks

You can run a length of hard tub in the bag from the air vent to the fill/drain line. Drill a small hole in your fat sac connection and the small 1/2" tubing. Use a zip tie to secure it. That way you will always be able to get to air when draining and thus avoid imploding your hard tank.

mgitk Great idea with the zip tie and hard tube. I have some leftover 1/2" PEX that should work well with the 1" ballast hose. A friend suggest drilling some holes through the length of hard hose so that any water that gets into that tube during filling will just got back into the bag but it will still allow air to vent when draining. Do you think the tis necessary or you think I am good with the 1/2" hard hose as is?
