For the faux teak custom fit and look, you are looking anywhere from $900 to $1400 I'd say. I had a quote a little over $1400 for doing my SV211 and that included the swim deck and transom steps.

Haven't got the hoists made up yet to lift the top deck off yet. Been working on my tower, swim deck brackets and ski pylon. Stripped all the swim deck brackets and polished the up a little bit. Took the ski pylon to a plating shop to have it re-anodized. It was anodized with what they call a type 2 process according to the plating shop which is the standard most common form of anodizing. Problem with type 2 is it does not hold up to UV light and you can see how the tip of it that stuck up from the deck faded to a dark purple. To prevent this they suggested type 3 anodizing which is a thicker harder form of anodizing and supposedly is the "industrial form" of anodizing and has better wear protection and will not fade.... Long story short it looks really cool and I'm happy with the results. I'm considering doing the swim deck brackets but now kinda think they will look better in there raw aluminum form and clear anodizing is an option it doesn't actually come out clear but more grey so for now I'm leaving them in there raw state. The ski pylon trim ring was originally powder coated black so I stripped it and it's at the powder coat shop getting painted black again.

Got the tower back from powder coating today. It had holes drilled in it for board racks and for Bimini top mounts. I sanded the original white powder coat off those areas and used a product call Alvin Hi-Temp lab metal. It's kind of like a bondo that can be electrically charged and powder coated over. I'm going to be using the FTC2 flight clip clamps which were introduced in the 2004 super airs I think and enabled the mounting of the flight clips at any spacing and without drilling holes in the tower. For the Bimini top I'm using an under Bimini from tower biminis which like the flight clips uses clamps so no drilling is required. Nice and clean now (I did leave the tower speaker wire holes just in case). Went with a 20% gloss black so it has a kind of matte or satin finish now.

We were technically building the hoists for a shop on the family farm here where I work for lifting engines out of tractors and things like that. The timing happened to be right with where I'm at with my floor project and needing to lift the deck off. Originally I was going to try and forklift the topdeck off but when I knew we were going to build hoists for the ranch I decided to wait and use them because it would be a lot safer and more stabil.

Awesome thread! Did you get the sea dek ordered for the top rails? Looking at doing the same thing and hoping to save in the templating time.

Purchased a 2002 SANTE a month or so ago and it has the "Rhino-Trek" (or whatever they called it) installed on the top deck from the factory. It's the only boat i've ever seen with it installed. I always thought it was one of those "never quite made it to production" type of deals. I think the boat spent a lot of time in the sun because the material is very worn down and it's actually sort of slippery. Anyways, the boat is in storage now but in spring I'm going to take all the step pads off. I would be willing to send you the pieces after I remove them but I know you probably don't want to wait that long.

Not a problem. I can get some pictures for you next time I'm at the storage building.
I plan on filling in the bimini and flight clip holes on my tower and re-powder coating over winter. What did they charge for prep and powder coat? I'm assuming you just handed them the white tower and did not prep it at all.
