Yeah that back seat design is bizarre. What a pain to pull those 2 seat pins to remove entire seat and base . After I took the seat out once I never put the pins back again

Yeah, and the three knobs for the seat back with the studs that don't allow the seat back to come out even with the knobs removed unless you bend the crap out of it...

The boat is at North Lake Fiberglass having the chips fixed and getting a full sand/buff. Should be really nice when it is finished.

I also decided to go ahead and do new carpet.

Once that's all finished, the boat will be going up to C&S Marine's shop in New Jersey to have a whole new interior installed. Really looking forward to that!

I have a feeling you will be going back with skins from the era of the boat, but man I’d really love to see some of the new interior designs in this boat!

what's the typical cost for that Jeff? i keep saying i'll buy the equipment to buff it myself every year, but never do.

Really depends on what the condition of the boat is. This one is going to be about $1,000 for the gelcoat repairs and the full sand/buff of interior and exterior. I am also having them remove the pitot tubes and fill those holes, since the speedometer is GPS-based now anyway.

I got the windshield frame and the vent covers back from power coat today, and they turned out great.

I reassembled the windshield, and it is ready to go back on the boat as soon as I get it back from gelcoat.

Going to be redoing my windshield very soon. Is that a matte black or a semi-gloss? Little hard to tell from the pictures. Was debating doing a matte silver to keep the burn factor down, but not sure yet. Looking great!

Ended up being about $280 with the blasting and the powder coat. I am very happy with that price.

Did you just order the replacement windshield molding rubber from Nautique Parts?

I was able to reuse all of the rubber that goes in between the glass and the frame, as well as the pieces that go between the frame and the deck. I just wash it in warm soapy water and it is good to go. The only replacements I had to order were the pieces that cover the screws that hold the frame to the deck. For some reason they were glued in on this particular windshield and the originals got destroyed during removal.

I don’t see it on NP.com so I’m wondering where I might get that if mine is in too poor of condition to reuse when I powder coat my windshield frame. Wasn’t sure if it was something generic that could be sourced locally or if you know of somewhere it’s available?

Here are a couple of shots I just took. I pulled the glass back out of the rubber so you can see what it looks like. The part where my thumb is is where the glass goes. The rubber surrounds the glass and fits into the frame.

I don't see it at Nautique Parts, but call them and I bet they have it or can get it.
