I need to pull the 3 rear seat cushions on mine to replace the covers and would like to know how hard it is to get the left and right seat bottoms out... middle is obviously cake.
Do I need to pull everything or is there a work around?

Believe me it is not that easy to remove that back seat in the 2001 Sport Nautique. There are 2 stainless steel pins behind each of the bottom stern seats which must be removed first. They are extremely difficult to remove because you can not get a good angle on them to yank them out with a pair of pliers. Once those are removed taking the seat bottom out is a piece of cake. Also to note once I removed those pins for the 1st time, I never replaced them back in the seat supports because of the difficulty in removing them
Yeah that stern seat in the 2001 Sport Nautique is a super poor design. I had such a tough time with it over the years of ownership removing it for various reasons. The seat is really not meant to be removed honestly.
Progress is being made... Two steps forward, one step back.
The gelcoat has been fixed and buffed.
The upholstery and carpet cleaned up WAY better than I expected, so I may not order a new interior for this boat.
Newly powder coated vent covers are installed.
Windshield is installed...kind of.
The windshield I bought was from a SNOB, but it is supposed to be the same windshield as the Sport Nautique from that era. It looks like the walk-through door is the wrong size on the windshield I bought. It is supposed to be 15.5" wide by 23" tall. The one I currently have is 18.75" wide by 23" tall. I am trying to source just a door. Hopefully I can come up with something.

Jeff, I bet you could pull the frame apart, cut it to the right size(aluminum you can just cut with miter saw), and have the glass cut or get a new piece. Honestly I bet that is much easier than you think.
Yeah, I actually have the original windshield frame, and the door isn't too messed up. If nothing else, maybe I'll just straighten that out all the way and powder coat that and get some glass cut.
Maybe cutting the existing one would be better though, since it is all powder coated and everything.
I am checking with NautiqueParts and Nautique about just getting a new door though. We'll see.

Do you have an ETA on Seadek? Hoping you have your dash done in the next couple of weeks before I put my windshield back on. If it looks as good as I’m hoping, I may go ahead and do mine while I have the windshield off!
