Bob got the new intake manifold intalled and I got to see the engine on the dyno. The intake swap transformed the hp and torque curve. I lost a little torque down low but widened the power band significantly. Peak HP 438.2 at 5500 rpm. Peak TQ 460.2 at 4200 rpm. At 5200 rpm I gained 90.2 hp and 91 ft lbs over the GT40 intake. Below is a video of the dyno run. Doesn't tell you anything but it sounds nice!

Received a couple more pictures of the fiberglass work. Most of the repairs on the deck are done. Now they are focusing on rebuilding the edges of the deck and hull where the shoe box was screwed together. The boat has had a number of repairs, overhauls, and rub-rails in it's life so the edges of the deck and hull looked like swiss cheese once they were separated. The floor is slowly coming together. The rounded ski locker will be squared off and this area will become my sub-floor battery compartments. The stiffening ribs at the bow are being repaired and then a composite rib is being re-glassed in place. There will also be some horizontal stiffening ribs put in place along the gunnel. I feel like a ton of progress has been made in the last couple weeks! By mid month, they should have the hull flipped over so they can begin repairing and respraying gelcoat.

When they go to spray the gel coat can you ask them how many mills thick do they spray it and if they do it in one single pass or comeback and spray second coats after it tacks up? This would be very helpful for me. Thanks

Finally had a nice enough day to have the Seadek installed. Haven't had a chance to wash and wax but I think the trailer turned out pretty incredible. Mike at Magnum Trailers of Austin, Texas did an incredible job helping me turn my idea into reality. The Seakdek color scheme is what I will be using in the boat.

Over the top man! Perfect color choice on the seadeck too.

Looks great. The tool is a nice added touch. The cat seems to like it too. haha

Thank you. I added the tool box because I wanted to have a bottle jack, tool set, and air compressor on board. A nice benefit is that I was able to also put the electric over hydraulic actuator inside.

What are you doing for a spare tire? I don't see a place for it anywhere. Did you look at other options over carpet for the bunks?

Full size spare is on the other side. It just blends into the background.

Not sure what else I would use vs carpet. Haven’t seen a whole lot of different options.

My bad... completely missed it while looking at the cat!

Man, don't let that cat start scratching the sea deck!! Be gone kitty! Any concerns with contacting the tool box with the hull when loading? Looks great though!

                              Completely agree regarding the cat.

The trailer was built with the boat present at the shop. It should be fine. (Hopefully).

I like that Gatorbak overlay. I would not mind putting that on my lift cradle and removing the carpet.
