I have already reached out to C&S for a rear seat skin. There are a few other places to redo but I think that can be addressed as well. I will probably have the hull professionally polished and fixed, there is a person that did the 226 and made it just sing for a couple hundred dollars. Worth it for someone that knows what they are doing. I have done more than my fair share of waxing but seems reasonable to pay for a good polish.

Bought it yesterday, pumped. It needs some serious cleaning and work on the hull. Lining up a gel coat guy now, think they can fix it. The blue striping on the side is marked up so we need to figure out how to solve for that. Otherwise it fired right up when testing. Any suggestions on where to buy the blue and silver striping or how to solve?

Spectrum Gelcoat will have the correct color gelcoat.

Thanks, that’s gel coat and not a decal? It feels like it is raised but I could be wrong, you know more than I do

Yep, that's definitely gelcoat, not a decal. The pinstripe is vinyl.

That is correct.

You will need the pinstripe tape also that follows where the different gel colors meet, silver metallic.

I spoke to Ross about that boat a few weeks ago, nice guy, Huntley is not far west of me.

Thanks Quinner, Ross is a really nice person. The boat needs some work but it is going to do what I need, pull a skier. When we test fired the boat it started immediately and the engine looked clean (as did the oil). It appears it was well maintained, just the cosmetics were less important.

Gel coat is going to start next week and I need to order the colors. Anyone know if Spectrum color will send pints vs. gallons? The website only appears to ship gallons of some color. Trying to avoid $300+ when I don't need that much. Will call Monday to ask but thought I might see if anyone here has an idea first.

- Gel coat showed up today and the boat was loaded on to the crane by gel coat repair to start
- Ordered the new rear seat skin and the trunk covers today
- Ordered new cover yesterday along with some maintenance items
- Working on finding boat lift, pier is in

If you're going to do your seat covers, let me know...I have done multiple now and have a few tips on how to get the best results. Or maybe just pass them along to your shop as things you want to them to consider.
