hello, and thank you in advance for any and all help/knowledge/suggestions.
just brought home a 1979 ski nautique in need of a rebuild.
the driveline is intact, all hardware is accounted for.
the electrical is just old and dirty but looks like half a rats nest, the stringers and floor is totally rotted as well as the seats.
Disassembly will begin next week, history tells me everything will be rotted so im looking for answers to how the following is bedded;
the tracking fins drain plug shaft log and strut appear to be built up glass in those areas (from the factory)
the hull looks like its cored w/ maybe 3/4 ply and glassed over at the rudder, (again from the factory).
ive seen on the nautique sites and youtube people have replaced stringers, but no mention of the running gear areas, like i said i expect every piece of wood to be gone.
