Wow FMSKI, very impressive, good works man!
I didn't see the pic on your original post, but I can tell you have come a long ways.
I like the back yard money shot with Sproat Lake in the background.

Thanks Scooter G Here are some shots of the completed rear section with stern storage compartments.
Two small doors open downward for rope, vest, gloves, binding lube etc. The "spinner" latches I have yet to make up, so these are for show only. This is all very light construction but goes together well. On my 200 (in background at dock) I just have some EVA foam to cover-off the tank.

Now the fun begins. The audio installation. The speakers are a garish bright white. Had a real problem with the crass look, so I tinted them to hull/uph off-white, then adding in a bezel of the accent caramel-tan. Competed speaker is much easier on the eye.

Cutting the speaker back panels tomorrow, sort the mounting of and applying base foam.
      All very paragon-esque of yore

Here's the space killing, deep-sixer stock interior in grampa's beige omg
Looked nice back in the day, but materials are better now

Ha! That's what my 96 looked like. A time capsule of that era!

I think this model loses most of its space due to the stepped gunnels. The gunnels on my 2004 206 are much narrower and the boat feels much larger. The rest of the layout seems more or less the same.

The side "coaming" pads consume 4-5" of valuable girth and that motor box belongs in a ferry boat perhaps. Bottom line is all that input to value-add to the boat, really adds a lot of weight. The pads, the lead-lined hull sides, vertical panels, r/seat, fuel, m-box, heater/shower and carpet is very heavy consuming 2" of draft. Do the math and it's about 500 lbs of stuff. That's a lot!!

Googled and found Overboard Designs is a company that redoes interiors to modern mtls. Work looks really nice.

Got my dash cleaned up and BT audio is installed. Everything works great except the lighting (only RPM lights). Some of the small gauges have issues there. I did continuity tests so will have to look at what's up. But it's clean and wiring is tidy.

Speaker panels are at upholstery place, and they are doing the motor box this week.

Final stages of the rebuild, should be able to run it in the water soon.

Speaker panels and motor box is done, the shop did an A++ job. Top pad is that carbon weave material, echoed on seating.
Starting the interior /audio assembly and some wiring work (LED lights etc)

Oh man, lovin' how it's turning out to be so sic looking. How it's all coming together per the vision: the curves, the colors, the materials. The solves...I have a DaVinci notebook with sketches - to produce the new parts that form this modern revision on the retro TSC1.

I love the TSC1. I love the styling, how it performs. How it moves through the water. The orig Bill Snook (?) design.
When the other versions came out they were hacks of it. Moving shells around. I've skied and driven them. I don't particularly like them. But this thing is a rocket.

IMO the 200 returned to this root the larger package, flatter bottom and deeper entry. In some respects it's worse tho!

BOSS system with hull connected audio/speakers creating some nice bass response. I wonder why SN didn't do that?
                        GPS speedo with heading.

Nice and roomy with adequate walk-though space.
Still more to go including an update on my "stereo hydro-gate" system. I was ahead of the wake micro-turners by a good 10 years I think.

LED Stern light. Pretty sure I'm going with a L-R brand/model designation. There is too much going on center-line the mount any decals there.

Really having fun with the boat and getting a few more things done. It runs OK in 1500-3000 range so can drive around the lake and show it to people. It's a stunner and reaction has been amazing. I have someone coming to look at it next week.

The helm seat is very sweet, the boat is quiet, responsive and perfectly balanced.

New ign distributor is in KY en-route and hopefully arrives soon. Working on the coolant sender I have to remove the T-stat housing to get a socket on it.

Going to refin the windscreen frame with SEM trim paint. The trailer needs some work but not sure I want to restore the surge brakes. They were horrible anyway.

Got the rear done, decals and some cool ski straps/racks.

I've got an idea for the rear seat, made up of 3 parts. Two corner seats w/molded backrest and a center "kick pad" that protects your knee when stepping over. The corner seats are easily removable so they can be flipped around for use a "stadium" seating each side of the motorbox. This solves that have-to-sit-on-the-floor problem when skiing with more than a few people. I'll post a pix of the mock up later

The idea of hanging the skis is pretty out of the box thinking! How did you do it? and where did you get the straps?

                                That's a really clean update.

I think you've done a neat job of working with the 'legacy colors' and bringing them forward.

I really like the color tie in between the upholstery and the sea deck. Finally, the re-profiled motor box looks great.
