How far do you have to trailer the boat? Which state is the boat located?

The previous owner has nicely agreed to deliver it. This boat is 10' wide, and probably close to 10,000 pounds as currently loaded. My Excursion would be at its limits moving it, and beyond its limits trying to stop it. I am getting a new truck soon (probably an F-350 or F-450 Dually), so then I'll be able to safely trailer this beast and other heavy boats.

The boat is in Georgia right now. It is about a four-hour trip from where the boat is to my house on Lake Norman.

If you are planning on a new truck, ordering now will get you a new truck in anywhere from two to 6 months... Unless you have some magic connection... Just ordered a 450 Nov. 4th and got notified it should be built week of July 31st...

Got a copy of the 1985 Price Sheet for Sea Nautique, Fish Nautique, and Cuddy Nautique.

Interesting that the base price of a Sea Nautique in 1985 was $49,922. That's by far Nautique's most expensive boat of that time. That's over $123,000 in today's dollars!

It has arrived here at my dock! I took it out a couple times today, and it seems to run pretty well. There is still lots of work to do, but this is going to be a cool boat!

Yes. That's the same boat.

First repair that needed to happen was the repositioning of the bilge pump float switch. I took care of that today.

The pump would kick on and pump out the water, but it wouldn't go down enough to let the float switch return to the off position! That meant that if the pump kicked on, it stayed on until I manually turned it off!

I moved the switch to a slightly higher mount, and now it works properly.

Also, since there is rain coming today, I decided to try out the old canvas that came with the boat. It is old, stretched out, and some parts have shrunk, but I was able to get it all put up today. Hopefully it'l keep the dash dry during today's rain.

Interesting for boat of this size to have an above water exhaust. How loud is she?

That’s not exhaust. The exhaust is below the waterline.

What you see is the scuppers that allow the deck to self-drain.
