Got the refinished prop installed (I know, there's no cotter pin in it yet).



Also mounted the platform to the brackets and got it all centered up. No oil on it yet though.

Ran into a little wiring issue on this boat. All of a sudden, the dash wasn't getting any power.

I got to pull the dash again, and I also got to pull the side panel again.

Turned out that it was just the stupid little toggle switch (On/Off/Bilge). I'll get one on order, and then this boat will be put back together for the last time!

Just waiting on the engine now.

Ha! Guess what I found in my stock of parts!

So I found out there are two versions of that toggle switch. When we got our 2003 basket case, I put a multimeter on the switch and determined it was the cause of no dash power. Ordered new one and it came only with spade terminals - 03 has the bolted connections like shown in your pics. Our 2002 that our show ski team owns has the spade style and one of them came off out in the middle of the lake resulting in a tow. Quick fix but I much prefer the bolted style like I found out my 03 has.

Installed the new toggle switch today. Converted the wire ends to ring terminals so that I could use the screw-down toggle switch. This will be more reliable going forward. Power at the dash now without the engine running is 12.5 volts!

Also installed the PerfectPass Master Module, fixed an issue with a loose ground terminal on the tachometer, repaired the front navigation light, replaced the throttle arm (due to a failing lock-out) and added a new knob, remounted the throttle panel and dash, installed the trunk panels, and tested everything.

Just a couple things left to do!

Finally started oiling the platform today. I usually put about fifteen coats of oil on after sanding, and this is just coat one, but it is looking pretty good so far. It is interesting how different platforms have different characteristics. The teak in this platform has some black in it, which is pretty unusual. This one will look great after a few coats soak in.

I installed the Coversports cover for this boat today. It is in the pre-stretch phase right now. It'll need a little more adjustment after it has been on for a few days, but these covers are great. They are the only design that truly needs no support poles once adjusted properly. I know Brent can be a little difficult to deal with sometimes, but his covers sure are nice!

Just a handful of things left. We found that the heater fan wasn't working, but we were able to fix that today. The stereo head unit block-off plate still needs to be installed, the glove boxes need a good cleaning, and the engine needs to be installed. The rest is pretty much complete.

Mounted the swim platform today. It looks OK, I guess.

This boat is completely finished with the exception of the engine install. Just waiting on that final piece.

Man, I love that teak swim platform. One of the few items i've not had the budget to stomach is getting a Teak one made for the 2004.
