Here in MN, our gas prices have been coming down nicely, but unfortunately, we have this thing called winter that can stretch from October through April.
twothatguy Actually, I do have one that I might let go. This is the first one I bought, and it has been sitting in storage waiting for us to get to it. Due to the rarity of the twin-engine Fish Nautiques (there are only four), and the strong start to this restoration (new composite stringers in place, new gas tank, replacement front deck setup from a later Fish Nautique with seating, etc.), this boat will not be inexpensive. I will also only sell it to someone who allows Silver Cove Marine to complete the restoration, or has another comprehensive restoration plan in place for the boat. I do not want this boat to go to someone who just lets it sit outside and rot. If you are interested, check it out here: https://www.silvercovemarine.com/pro...-fish-nautique
Ran into an issue yesterday with the port engine starter. Had to pull the boat back out, and will replace that starter this week.
It started up fine in my driveway on Saturday, but when I backed it down the ramp, the starter wouldn't turn the engine. Verified that the engine turned by hand with no problems, and the starter relay clicks, so that leaves the starter.
I'm just enjoying browsing through some of your restorations. Forgive me if this sounds sacrilegious but can these boats be repowered with something more modern?
