How about your tips on fluffing the carpet? Yours has turned out great. I've tried several things like renting a carpet cleaner on mine and it's not responding

Don't know what Jeff's been doing but the quarter car wash spray out method followed by another round with a pressure washer (wide spray pattern head) with the soap bottle attachment filled with Woolite fabric softener has worked well for me. The first round at the car wash gets the years of dirty out of the carpet while lifting it up. The Woolite seems to add the fluffy softness to it.

I've done this to the flip boats I've owned and used it on the snap in carpets I had in my previous boat. Seemed to work for me.

Got this boat all ready to go for a water test. I fixed one remaining issue with the bilge pump circuit, cleaned up the last remaining wiring under the dash, put the engine box together, and charged the battery. This boat looks so good! Can't wait to test it out this weekend!

Found a few little things on the water test that needed to be addressed. The fuel filter seemed to be starving the engine for fuel a little bit, so we serviced that today. The PerfectPass stepper motor wasn't working, so we replaced that, and I found that one side of the windshield trim never got installed, so we took care of that. We also replaced the gas shocks on the rear hatch (someone had installed 80-lb shocks instead of the correct 30-lb.). I also noticed that the replacement keypad we had installed didn't have the little Nautique logo decal, so I ordered and installed that too. Oh, and the glove box door got a new gas shock as well.

I also purchased a proper Sport Nautique trailer for this boat this past weekend, so now it will sit on the correct trailer. We are doing a small bit of refurbishing on the trailer this week (new inner fenders, new crash pads, etc.). The trailer is in really nice shape otherwise. The bunks are great, the bearings are quiet and cool, and all of the lights work well. Even the tires are in good shape.

I'm going to keep this boat at my dock for the next few days and run it frequently to be sure there are no issues, and then it will be ready for a new home!

Jeff, admiring your resto. I'm looking to replace the gauges on my 2000 Sport Nautique and was wondering if you had a part number or where you purchased the Faria gauge kit with the GPS speedo.
