I got home late last night with this beauty. 2009 210 Team with the Full Throttle package WITH the ZR-409 in it, 400 hours. I was debating on buying this but the opportunity of having the big motor really swayed my opinion. Poor boat never had a cover in its life. But I’ll bring it back to life!

I didn’t like the colors at first, but they grow on you quickly. But other than that it seems like a pretty straight forward project that I’m excited to start.

Started diagnosing the gauge cluster today, the speedo, tach, and temp gauge were all inoperable when I bought the boat so I swapped them for some others I had laying around. Speedo and tach came back to life, but the temp did not despite getting good voltage at the back of the gauge. When I bought the boat he said he thought it had about 500 hours on it, but did not no for sure because the gauge was dead. I was surprised (but a little worried) when the test gauge read 139 hours!

Started working on the trailer since I wanted to be able to actually use the boat while I’m restoring it. I’ve had trailer problems every time I’ve hooked this thing up to my truck, and last time I brought it home on 3 wheels! New axle in and new tires should get this thing road ready again.

Next comes ballast repair. All of the ballast pumps had the bearing in the pump froze. So I took all 3 pumps apart and got the bearings moving again. Will they last forever? Who knows, but they work again for now. I couldn’t get myself to buy new pumps knowing these only had 130 hours on them. I have some extra sacks and hose laying around so I’m going to plum in sacks on top of the factory hard tanks.

Nice. CSmarine has Nautique skins to replace that interior. I redid my o6 226 this past spring. They sent them to me in 4 days

I plan on doing the upholstery this winter in preparation for next summer.

Tensioner wasn’t making good tension, that got replaced along with the idler pulley, belt, plugs, and replacement wire. The belt part number from Oriley is K060908. Who knew the idler pulley shaft was only a half shaft! Plugs looked decent, but new ones went in.
