2000 Nautique Super Sport PYTHON!

Just picked up this little 2000 Nautique Super Sport.

I'm not normally super excited about this particular model, but this one is kind of special.... See the second picture!

Finally getting started on this one at Silver Cove Marine. Hoping to have it finished by springtime!

That aftermarket tower is going into the trash can and a factory-correct New Dimension tower will go in its place.

Disassembly started today. The windshield was removed and disassembled so that the frame can be powder coated. The other painted parts were also removed and will be sent to powder coat.

The dash was also removed today. The gauges will be replaced, and PerfectPass Stargazer will be installed. The keypads seem to be in good condition. They will be tested and replaced if necessary.

The interior will come out next week. The tower will be removed and tossed in the trash where it belongs, and we'll figure out whether we are replacing the carpet or just cleaning it up.

Somebody is going to want that tower, that's gotta be worth a few tanks of gas...

Progress is continuing on the disassembly of this boat here at Silver Cove Marine.

Today most of the interior came out. This boat has great bones and will look outstanding once complete.

Our team has been absolutely killing it with the disassembly on this boat! This was a complete boat just a few days ago. It is now almost ready for gelcoat work! That's a fast disassembly, especially when it involves removing a tower. Our crew is great!

Here's the boat with all of the interior out, dash out, windshield off, tower off, decals and pinstripe off, etc.

Here's one of our guys working on the swim platform from the 2000 Nautique Super Sport Python boat. Our people are really incredible. I wish I had a before shot of this platform. There was a completely rotten piece of wood that he has removed and replaced already (just needs some final trimming). The rest of the platform was so rough that I wasn't sure it would be able to be saved. This is about the mid-way point in the platform restoration, and you can see how far it has come already. It'll look brand new when he is finished with it!
