Just had the boat templated for some U-Dek marine decking. I am only doing the glove box, side rails, rear vent cover for now. Costs is $250 and they will have the templates for the 1997 Ski Nautique. https://marinecustoms.net/
I have learned that if you powder coat the frame, you need to be sure they don't powder coat the part that slides together, or if they do, they need to do it VERY lightly. Otherwise, you run into that issue. I have had to have one of mine blasted again and recoated when it just wouldn't go back together.
I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. We specializes in Nautiques and Correct Crafts, and also provide general service for Nautiques fifteen years old and older.
If we can be of service to you, please contact us anytime!

I sanded the channels by hand for an hour and they were gliding back and forth nice and smooth but if they are off just a bit it would wedge. Windshield looks great though!
Getting a little closer........Replaced the throttle, control, and steering cables. Took out the throttle assembly and cleaned off the old grease and what a difference it made. So smooth now.
I did mess up the U on Nautique when applying the decal which costs me $130 for a new decal set, so in my haste I just ripped off the other letters giving her a new name for now.
