The floor has (had) a decent amount of screws, so did the stringers, and transom. Water gets in period. Day/night thermal expansion contraction, dew, rain, crazy humidity under a tarp plus all the water from swimming/skiing etc. There is no, zero way for the moisture/water to escape and it's done for.

Throw in brodozer and his douchebag entourage with enough abuse and neglect for 10 youtube channels and youve really wiped it out.
pit that up against the 84 which is intact, original and came with 3 inches of documents and other paperwork,

but in the end it comes down to assembly, no amount of care will save it from the ultimate doom built into it at the factory.

If it had a floor pan and zero foam it could drip and leak etc etc, long as it had a way to the bigle pump or drain plug they could raise the price another 50 grand and throw a transferable warranty on the hull (as long as no holes drilled for stupid 40 inch boom speakers and amplifiers and underwater light stuff)

--- it has (had) a foam cored floor pan that came out of a mold for the front (pylon forward), they were 1/2 way there.
no brainer to finish it, add a few details pop a mold of the underside to lock in those details and no foam filled cheap way out nonsense.
hate to see whats under the floor of a liner boat, that foam probably isn't covered

But then you would hear and smell and feel the water, engine and boat like God intended. Hey tell the wife to pay for it, you want all the puff and nvh break out YOUR checkbook and when it's a sponge mess in a couple years you can buy another one or you could realize it's a convertible boat not a Bentley your trying to park in LaJolla to shop with your bitchy friends.

I had to move it today and it rolled like it wasn't there its so light now.

It's a ski boat dummy the fluff and poof belong in the range rover or something, !

I left and am still outta town. The drive north on tuesday the 8th was brutal all the way to lake norman where exit 28 has wrong side of road/criss crossed exit/on ramps.
judging how the people from y'all a lina drive in good weather and without traffic i can't believe no ones dead.

        it's like;
Are my brake lights working yep
Are my brake lights working yep
Are my brake lights working yep
yep, yer brake lights and the brake lights of 20 cars behind you and another 100 cars in the opposite direction all checked their brake lights when you checked yours.
oh my god someones pulled off the road on the opposite side of the highway ! Put on the brakes and saw the wheel left and right a bit so all traffic slows down to 45.

Going south theres a sign : welcome to north y'all a lina home of the nascar hall of fame or museum or some sh!t like that and you gotta wonder who are f*cks holding on to that for ? None of y'all can f*ckin drive without hitting the brakes every 10 seconds.

Never once driven thru north or south y'all a lina anywhere near the speed limit or at any consistent speed 80 to 5 to 45 to 2 to 70 to 15 to 60 to stop to 70 to stop and idle to 30 to 45 to stop to left lane.i'd buy a highway pass if there was a bypass around all those none driving y'all a linians

I flushed out the exhaust and with some plumbing caps/couplers installed and sealed off the muffler for winter storage and dipping the boat in to get it on the trailer straight which it does not do, i had to ratchet strap it into position while the boat was just floating.
              yay! Something else needs fixed!

Also peeled off the decals and rubber non slip with plastic razor blades ( no damage)
Wow it hasn't been cleaned yet but what an improvement.

Since i'm ski nautiques biggest fan now when i transport it i can tell people its a mastercraft or somethng is why it's all waterlogged and had to get cut open

In the process of that one of the plastic hinges broke (screwdriver points to hinge) and need a replacement or do i just pick up stainless ? No gas shocky things will be going back in the boat at all ever, period.

New hubs tires and spares, extra hub parts etc etc for both boats
All cleaned repacked etc etc across both trailers, fingers crossed i won't have to call highway tire tow and robbery. Did i mention highway tire tow and robbery already, maybe i should read my own thread.

I'm thinking interesting exhaust plugs, wise, no canaries or small rodent nests there.
Looking good, good work, you have come a long way.

2 outta 10 level of difficulty, never thought this stuff would work so good on the paint, the decals and pinstripes it hardly touched so if anyone has a product to remove them i would appreciate hearing.
Stickers, decals, numbers & pinstripes fell off the snob, the 01 they are like iron. You can use this to get the pinstripes and decals off.

                      https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZNGPY8G

Works best on a variable speed 120v electric drill - more torquey than the battery stuff. Slow speeds are what you want. If you go fast, you just burn up the disk.

I've seen those rubber wheels before, always curious on how well they work. The reviews seem to be pretty solid. I may have to partake, I always seem to be pulling stickers and the likes (or warning labels) off of something.

Scooter G - the wheel made short work of removing my old baked on pin stripes. Definitely recommended. Price is right too.
