Worn out platform brackets??

I have a 99 PAN with the removable platform, and my brackets are worn out, creating a lot of play in the platform. It rattles at idle, and when we are hanging out, and water hitting the transom makes it "rock." Of course my son jumping up and down on it like a diving board doesn't help, but that's part of the program for our boat.

Any ideas on dimensions for these things new?
I spoke to Alloy marine and they told me that the platform bracket has orings up in the tube that help to stabilize the platform, so I'm going to have a look at that, but I don't think it's going to solve my issue.

Has anybody used the larger pin on the pre '02 platforms? I know I'll have to mod the transom bracket.

Just make some plastic/polymer/whatever sleeves or have someone make some for you to the right specs.

The larger pins are an idea that I was considering and they will work. You have to drill the hole out larger and remove one of the bolts to attach the wire keeper. No big deal but not sure if it will eliminate your slop. It sounds like you have spread out the slot. Can you squeeze it back together some?

I have now actually taken one of the brackets off of the platform and "dry" fitted it to the transom post, and they're pretty loose! The holes for the pins have enlarged to almost a 1/4" fore & aft, not quite as big up & down.
Honestly this design is not that great, how in the world do the newer boats hold up that huge fiberglass platform? That composite platform weighs what? I think CC is now using 3 of these brackets.

I've spoken to the people at OJ and they are considering building some replacement brackets for CC's. They are now the OEM for MC, and they have a pretty slick folding bracket that looks beefy. Anyone here interested?

I'm awaiting some prototypes from OJ for my boat. These should fit most of the 98-2002 air/sport/ski hulls. Should also work for the 99-03 SAN, but I'm not sure about that. I believe the V drive transoms are more vertical than the DD versions. I'll post some pics when I receive the brackets.

I took out the "Pins" and drilled out it out slightly and put back together with small SS bolts..
