we just started rubbing out the hull on our 91 SN...we purchased all the products from 3M and i am curious how rough you can be with the gel coat before you burn through it...i have a variable speed buffer and so far i have only taken it up about to about a quarter of the speed it can go and the effects on the gel coat are great but i want to know how hard i can push to really get those stubborn scratches out

RE: rubbing out hull
Here is a copy of the post I put out a few month ago. I used his write up and was very happy with the results.
"I had some scratches I wanted to get out and used GW's instructions step by step. I swear that guy should write a book "How to own a Nautigue" "
