I have an awesome GF, she bought me stuff for my CC

So my B day was march 8th, and she got me the edelbrock performer manifold for my 78 martinique, and she also got me a nice looking set of trick flow chrome valve covers.

I will have to post a pic of the covers, but I think I need to do a minor dremel job on the valve cover to allow the breather to mount in the hole.

I need to figure out which intake manifold gasket to buy, should I just get the one from discount inboard marine?

.I probably have a few more questions once I rip into this, like which spaer to use to keep the PCV port, or should I use one of the holes in the manifold with a fitting to adapt to the PCV hose?

the boat has the 240hp 5.8 pcm.

I am contempating getting a set of GT40P heads from a 5.0 explorer as well. heck I will have the intake off,a nd I might as well at least replace the 30 year old head gaskets, even if I re use the stock 4v heads.

I do agree, nothing is hotter than a girl that delivers performance engine parts for a special occasion!

Post some pics of the projects as they go along as well, pictures are ALWAYS good! 8-)
