I like to see pics when you guys work on your own boats, just thought I would return the favor. Should have started this in the winter but I was able to take the entire boat apart in a couple of hours. Mission: new carpet and some upholstry work. I will add more pics in a few days when the carpet is out.

onenautiqueone - I would like to see the pictures and write-up. I have taken mine apart similar to your picture, but would like to know how hard it is to replace the carpet, the process and and also where did you buy your replacement carpet. I have a similar model - 99 sport - would love to re-carpet. Thanks !!06 Ski Nautique 196 SE (2010)

I did a full carpet replacement 3 years agao and went from black to grey and never looked back. Black is a good color but seemed to make it much hotter in the summer when not in motion. Also I felt that the black did not hide dirt as well. Not sure who put the balck in but I was glad to see it go.
GREAT job on your prep work!!!1993 SN

Gotta admit that when I saw the title of this post, I expected to open it up and see some pictures of your new toupee  I figured the cat may have gotten a hold of your old one and used it as a scratching post or something. Thank goodness it was just the carpet in your Naughty.2003 SAN (current)
