    2006 210 tower on a 2003 SANTE

I got a buddy that has a perfect tower off of his 2006 210 (long story). He said that he'd give it to me dirt cheap if I wanted it. I was wondering if someone could take some simple measurements so I can compare it to mine and see if it is even close. I would probably need distance across the boat (left to right) between the front legs and the back legs. Then the dims between the front and rear legs. Additionally, I need a reference point to work with. Maybe the rear edge of the windshield to the center of the bracket, or the bow of the boat to the center of the bracket. All dims should be close as they can to the centerline of the bracket.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. My tower is showing it's age. It is one of the ones that was painted and not powdercoated.

    Cheers!

Getting yours powder coated will be alot less hassle than installing a new one. The feet are totally different and would likely have to have some holes patched. I would be willing to bet you could get yours sandblasted and powder coated for around $300.

I figured there would be different mounting holes. I can manage that as long as the foot placement is pretty much identical. I actually like the looks of the newer tower and can get if pretty much for free, so if it's technically feasible, it might be a fun project.

Thanks nawteak. That was my thinking about the looks of the tower. Hopefully I can make it work.

Thanks Nawteak. I'll let ya know if it matches up. Been kinda hard to get around lately. Just had ACL surgery. Guess, I will get lots of time to screw around with the boat now.

                bmh2208,

How is your recovery going? Had my ACL reconstructed in September "07, and still not getting around like I'd like to. I'll probably be surfing this year!!

Actually pretty good. I would say in a few weeks they'll let me start jogging on it. I actually got up on the wakeskate a few times the last couple of times we went out. Not to do anything but just ride, no crazy **** yet. Shhhh, don't tell my doc.
