    Decal Removal ?

I need to remove one of the big "AIR" decals on the side of my 2000 SAN. What is the best way. Is there any worry about the gel coat. I need to get one ordered. Thanks

Heat gun. Keep it moving, and peel with your fingers. When the decal starts to stretch, stop pulling for a second as it's gotten to hot and will tear. Of course, if it does, just start again. On my boat, the larger decals were a snap. The pin striping on the other hand was tedious, but not too bad.

No need to worry about the gel coat, just don't use too much heat. I would recommend a hair dryer instead of a heat gun.
