Does anyone know if there is a good way to de-oxidize gelcoat without taking off the decals? As you can see the PO had done a poor job of re-decaling. My concern is the current decals are still good so I don't want to pay for new decals if I don't have to. If I do need new decals does anyone know of a good source for a good price? I called Midwest CC and they can get identical ones for around $285, that seems like a good price but I didn't know if there are better options. Thanks!

RE: De-oxidizing with Decals
To restore the color, you'll very likely have to wetsand, followed by a good buffing (compound, polish). Its pretty tedious to sand around decals, but very possible. When buffing, you can go right over them if youre careful.1990 Ski Nautique
