I purchased an 06 216 last fall and had some problems with the oil pressure jumping around. CC determined that it was a gateway or an oil pressure sender and sent me replacements per the warranty. The Sender looks very easy to install but I have no idea where the Gateway lives and how much of a job it is to replace. I am pretty handy but no expert mechanic and would rather pay someone to have it done right to avoid screwing up my "new" boat. I am planning to put the boat in the water next weekend and would appreciate any assistance from the board.

RE: Installation of a gateway and oil pressure sender
Just replaced the gateway in mine this weekend. 10 minutes out, 15 minutes in. It's probably in the footwell of your boat. On my boat, the fuse panel is in front of it, which is held in with 4 screws. The gateway itself has 4 screws, but the wings are slotted so you really only need to remove 2 of them.
The connectors are all keyed so you can't screw that up. Just make sure you remove the connectors from the box by pulling on the connector bodies and not the wires.2001 Ski Nautique / 2007 SV211 TE (gone but not forgotten)
