Battery Dead - Manual lift for V-Drive Latch?

I think the tech who winterized my boat left the displays on all winter. Needless to say, the battery is dead and I can use the electronic switch to raise the rear latch to access the battery. Does anyone know a way to manual release the rear latch to access to engine/battery? Thanks!

If it is anything like my '98 SS then you should be able to lift the back of the rear seat straight up. Get your hand under the cushion and just lift. Once you do that there are two carpet covered fiberglass panels that you should be able to pull out, on the SS the battery is on the starboard so you really only need to pull that out. You can either give the battery som juice from there or try pulling the pin on the hydraulic lift and then manually open the hatch. I think just hooking the battery up to a charger or jumpers and lifting the hatch from the switch is the easiest way though. Hope that helps.
How 'bout a little reverse action...

Thanks for the help. The wrap-around arena seat had three brackets holding it down. Lifted it off and charged the battery. Thanks!!
