I'm getting my trailer and rims murdered out this week (ha always wanted to say that). I couldn't find a lift or trailer to put my boat on so I put it in a friends boat dock (floating) I tied it up so that it wouldn't hit the sides and I also have rubber bumpers tied up all around the boat. My question is how long is too long to leave it in the water before you see any negatives as far as the gel coat is concerned. The boat is in a very clean lake and in a spot where traffic is low. Just need some opinions because I am a little high strung over this. I have never left a boat in the water this long. The guy doing the work for me said He should be done by the end of the week or begining of next week. I'm sure I will be using the boat a couple of these days. Anyway just looking for your thoughts.

RE: How long is too long?
Thanks guys, just what I wanted to hear. I can't wait to get this trailer back, it's gonna look great. I will post some pics. Black trailer, black rims. My boat has black and grey graffics on it.

RE: How long is too long?
We leave our boats in from april to november every year, and they're fine. Clean fresh water should be no trouble. Congrats on the upgrades, that'll be sick...How 'bout a little reverse action...
