    Ignition Fault Warning????

Took the boat out for the first time today and a warning kept beeping saying "IGNITION FAULT SEE DEALER". Everything seemed to be ok, all gauges were normal etc. Any suggestions before I tow 150 miles for the dealer to check it out????

Maybe you want to give the dealer a call before towing 150 miles. Explain the situation and the status of the gauges.....he might just recommend a reset.

This is a long shot. A local GM (chevy) dealer might be able to diagnose the problem. They might also charge you more than fuel costs, even at today's prices.

Did you ever get an answer to your problem?

I had the same thing happen on my 2004 210 SANTE today, on the first trip out of the season - the "Ignitiion Fault - See Dealer" warning, but everything else seemed completely normal. I just had the boat de-winterized by the dealer last week, and am curious if anything could have happened during the winterization process to cause the warning to occur.

I would check the plug wires and the connections for the ignition system sounds like a mis-fire code.

Dealer came back out to check, and called me saying it was a "loose wire" - everything has seemed fine on my last 2 trips. Thanks.
