    Need new prop - 02 210SANTE

I used the searched function but I can't find what I'm looking for...

running the OEM ballast (750?) + 1000pounds of people, usually. ridin' light

    which prop should I get?
surf and wakeboard. looking to get decent gas mileage, don't care about the top speed. I want good RPM's at cruising/wakeboarding speed.

keep in mind this is a 2002. I think the newer ones are spinning the other way around.
    so...

    size
    LH or RH?!
    model

    thanks in advance guys!

you want rh rotation. take a look at what your current prop is. probabl 13.5x16 but who knows. you probably want a 13.5x15 1 1/8" rh. your best bet is to call acme and ask them, but with your weight that's what i'd say. i usually use about 2000lbs on top of the factory ballast and im about to get a 13.5x14.25 with a .150cup.

The GT-40 SANs came with ACME 380's because they make more torque than the EX-330. If you have a GT-40 you should be happy running a Acme 536 behind it, run a 644 if you want a tiny bit more. I think the next one up is the 856 but it is designed for 2K+ #s.

I think many of the prop recommendations on this board are for the EX-330.

BKH's GT-40 SAN runs a Acme 380, it comes out of the hole like my 211 running the Acme 644. There is a 1.5" difference in pitch between those props. That's why I know the GT-40 makes more torque.

        engine is a 330hp excalibur

        I don't think it's a gt-40, right?

Get the ACME 644 unless you are running 2k of ballast then go for the 856. THere is also a 1464 that just came out that should be great but I have not tried it yet. Hope to this summer.

i was told to leave the diameter alone and go down in pitch. i was also told that going from a .105 cup to .150 would help keep the rpm's down. i am going to wait and get some more info but for my 210 w/ 330 and 1500-2200lbs on top of factory i am looking at the acme 1236 13.5x14.25. does anyone have experience that says this is a bad choice or there is a better one?

This is some info I got from ACME a few weeks ago while trying to decide on what prop to put on my '03 SANTE. Should tell you what you need to know. I suggest the 856 since you don't care about top end. If not then the 644. That is what I went with. Just a note... I rode behind my friends '08 210 SANTE and it had the 1579, which according to ACME's site is the same as the 1465. It was running about 4000 rpm's at 28-30 mph. Basically it has NO top-end at all.

Talked with ACME when I got back to work and this is what I found out...

                536 - Factory in '02 13.5 dia. x 16 pitch
                644 - More low-end torque 13.25 x 16
                856 - Low-end torque 13.25 x 15.5
                1464 - Ultra low-end, losts of weight and people, wakesurfing 13.5 x 14.25
1465 - Same as above but LH rotation, Factory on '07 and newer 210's

The 1464 prop was made by taking a 1234 and cutting down just the tips so it would fit under the boat and not hit. With the exception of the tips, it has as much surface area as the 1234 which is why it offers so much low-end.

Brian, ACME said you might be able to run the 1234 if it clears. He said OJ's sizes didn't run true so a 14 x 18 might actually be 13.75 or 13.5 in diameter. He said to measure the distance between the blade tip and the bottom of the hull on you 644 and add 5/8" to that. If you still had 3/4" clearance between the hull and new diameter you could run the 1234, else the 1464 would be a good choice.

I asked if they made anything lower than the 1465 for the newer boats and he said there had not been a reason to yet. They do show a 1619 that is 13.5 x 13.75, but they didn't have any on the shelf. He said there should be no reason to ever need it, and if the boat was weighted that much some needed to be dumped anyway.

My 856 tops out at 35mph. My 644 does 42-44 if I remember.

im getting a 1464 for my 210. i spoke with acme today and he said i could go with the same prop but with a .150cup and get prolly 2mph faster, but for a weighted boat and no top end needed the 1464 is the way to go.

I have a 1464 on my 04' SAN and love it. All we do is surf and wakeboard, never struggled to get the boat on plane, no matter how much ballast.
