    Cap and Rotor Installation question...

As part of a spring tune-up I was planning to replace the cap and rotor on my 97 Sport with GT-40. Are there any special techniques required or lubricants needed on the parts? I know to be careful changing one plug wire at a time. Thanks for any suggestions...Rob

RE: Cap and Rotor Installation question...

I heard that Di-Electric Grease was a good idea...just wondering where it should be applied. Thanks, Rob

apply the stuff inside the spark plug boot (both ends) and on the cap where each wire connects (and the coil if you have one).

You want the grease to lube the metal connection and the rubber boot so you can get it off later.
