    Snap In Carpet

We bought our '04 SV-211 last year and I would estimate that about 25% of the snaps from the "snap in carpet" were broken. Some have stripped out of the fiberglass, but most have just broken and pulled out of the carpet. Last year I was too busy enjoying the boat and wakeboading. This year I have more time to obsess about such things.

Is this common for CC? Would it be covered by warranty? I paid the $300 to transfer the warranty for the entire 5 years.

    RE: Snap In Carpet

I had a couple come off my carpet when I first bought it and it was covered under warranty.

Mine seems to be doing the same thing. Had one last year. Just noticed another one. My dealer just takes care of it, so I assume it's warranty (although he is a nice guy).

I had that happen on mine. I took it to a trim shop and they replaced them. they make a snap remover tool. or you can use a flathead screwdriver. I have not had any problems since. that tool works very well.
