In te quest for preventive maintenace i like the alot of us have been reading threads and came across the need to check the shaft alignment.

With it I easily adjusted my shaft alignment tonight. It was .010 out on the top half of the colar.
some tweeking to the front engine mounts quickly eliminated the gap.
I feel alot better now, and feel if you have an inboard you to should take the time to check this at the begining of the season.
