RE: teleflex guage
Yeah I would love to know to if this is still a possibility I think I rember someone saying that you could send the original gauge to Hong Kong or China and they could fix it for about 60 bucks. I would love to keep my digital gauges in my 2000SAN as I thint hey fit the era best. Speedo is shot and hard to read Rev counter still good.

teleflex guage repair
If you want to fix it,first of all is how to open the guage bezel than disassemble all, it's not difficult and not easy,(if you want keep the bezel not hurt, since the ring is melted to the guage body by ultra sonin heat up,and the bezel is made thin,(easy break),I’ll do this job under 10X microscope with a pen type blade,if you can work carefully with fine workmanship, you probably can remove the bezel complete.
Most problem of the Teleflex digital guage is water on the PCB,this need ultrasonic cleaning, curcuit check and soldering, this need fine soldering under microscope,if you are electronic technic basic, Ithink you may try it.
or if you don't want do this,Just PM me,Ill send you address, you just send to me,and you will get fixed within 2 week.

CC Teleflex LCD Speedo Guage failure
I will call CC re this guage failure as it has certainly been a problem for them in the past. If they do not swap the part, can this guage be repaired and if so who should I call or send the guage to? Your help is really appreciated.

RE: CC Teleflex LCD Speedo Guage failure
You mention moisture on the PCB. Strangely when I had the cover on and we had a small rainshower, the cover heated up in the sun creating moisture under the cover and likely in the guage as well. The tach also did this however dried uut quickly. I wonder if a shot of WD 40 (a moisture evaporator) would work? Of course one would have to open the guage first. Where do you get them fixed or do you do it. If so what is the cost and where would I mail it to?

RE: CC Teleflex LCD Speedo Guage failure
If I choose to replace all of the guages on my 2002 Nautique 196, (as the speedo died) are the plug and play replacements for the old one sor do we have to go through coding the wires etc to make the new ones work? Also what is the best brand as well as look for this year of boat? If anyone has photos that would be great. I want to have an RPM/Hours combo guage vs a separate hour meter if that is possible.

I think I paid almost 400 for the pair. I wanted the hour meter in the tach.2000 SuperSport 502 Python

I just want something that works and look like they belong there. I really could care about the cost. CC were to send me photos and information and I am still waiting.

I just installed the Faria kit from CC, A-32-1008A. You may need a different kit, since you have a PP. It was $213.72 from White Lake Marine.
There are only 4 wires to the tach. You will cut them off the back of the connector and install terminals on them. The lights get a spade terminal, and the others get a ring terminal. The purple wire goes to IGN or BAT on the tach, the black goes to GND, the blue goes to the lights, and the gray goes to SIG.
For the speedo, you attach the purple, black, and blue wires just like the tach. Then you connect a wire harness from the kit between the paddlewheel and the PP. The green wire from the harness goes to the SIG terminal on the speedo.
I changed the red bulb in the speedo to a clear one to match the other gauges. It is a 194 bulb available at auto parts stores.
