It was not wet when I put the cover on.

WHAT HAPPENED? Anyone ever see this before?

It is like select seams have stained a dark Pink?

This boat is a 1990 and the rear seat is showing it, I had plans to get a new skin for the rear, now its looking like I have to do the fronts as well.

There is not a mark on the driver or passenger side seats.

      VERY ODD>

Colgate did not touch these marks. Also the marks and seams are firm. Not soft like the rest of the seat.

I know you said the 303 was dry but was the seat wet in the seams from water. It looks like mold growing. Not as bad as it sounds. Some vinyl products will support mold. Try one seat out in the sun. If it is mold once it dries (inside the vinyl) the color may change. This happens in Vinyl floors all the time. That color is a common color in vinyl floors.

When I worked at a marina in the cape we used a product called On & Off which seemed to work really well. I've used it on my American Skier when the vinyl was redone and ts effects seem to be increased with a little sun exposure. VERY POTENT.

DO NOT USE THIS ON YOUR VINYL

                THANKS RLS:

My fathersday turned out to spectacular. Skied my brains out enjoyed time swimming with the kids and the SUN COOKED the mold as previoulsy stated right out.

Totally crazy. There is still a slight hint if you look very carfully but another sun baked day and all the mold should go away. The best fathersday gift I got was knowing I dont have to spend the $$$$ for new skins.
