    ACME 380 Vs 644

Just got ACME 644 from DIM and test to water, the fromer propeller is ACME 380,380 was running good, just want try a higer model thing make better wake, the 644 make speed lower than 380,means same RPM have lower speed,(more gas consumpt)not very happy with this at present since my ballast system went out, thinking that 644 is designed for heavier loading,I'm going to updrade and modify my stock ballast system to make my SAN havier , 644 is for this purpose.I think.

644 is a good all around prop for a SAN running stock ballast, it is what they install on factory team edition SANs

I just recently upgraded to an acme 380 from the stock OJ prop on my super sport and boy what an improvement! It could be that the few very minor dings I had in the OJ prop were impacting its performance, but I've picked up 4 mph on the top end and it seems to have better hole shot. The best part is the way the prop growls under certain conditions - it sounds awesome!
