    leaky valve cover

I have a couple of bolt heads that are leaking oil at the valve covers of my 1995 super sport nautique. I was thinking of replacing the gaskets and was wondering how difficult it will be to access all of the bolts for removal. Any helpful advice would be appreciated since the boat is 1.5 hours away.

Does it have the GT-40? If so, remove the upper intake plenum and you will have ample access to the valve covers. You will need a replacement gasket for the intake. I'm not sure where you are planning on getting the valve cover gaskets, but if you can, I think Ford still offers the gaskets that were factory on 90-93 model Mustangs. They are a metal and rubber gasket that seal really well and are reuseable if you have to take the covers off again.

yes, it is the GT-40. I think the current gasket is cork. I was thinking I could get a replacement at autozone or a car parts place. not sure where I can get the gasket for the exhaust manifold.
