i have been fighting this problem for over 2 months. first it was shutting off whenever you pushed any buttons on the dash (i have an 06 206 w/ a ZR6). after 3 tries dealer said it was the bilge swith by the kill switch that was bad. after i got it back it will stay running, but when you hit a hard wave, it will go into limp mode and you can't get it out unless you shut off and restart. Gauges seem to be twitching, and warning signals are going off that are not true(low oil warning, and when i check the oil it is fine, also RPM pops up on the digital display sometimes). this is very frustrating, because right now i have no faith that the boat will work. any suggestions would be great. Dealer is coming tommorow morning, but after 4 tries i am losing confidence.

RE: Goes into Limp mode when boat hits rough water
"first it was shutting off whenever you pushed any buttons on the dash"
The boat will start with the switch on bilge only, but once you hit something on the dash it will kill everything. Make sure your switch is on "all on"

I had the same exact sysptoms with my 06 206 although I have the 330 Excaliber but the problem component is the same on the ZR6. The problem is with the TCP (Throttle Control Positioning Sensor). Have your dealer get you a new TCP (part #RA119004) and you will also possible need the new wiring harness (part# R121086). I am 99.9% sure this will solve your problem........
This PCM link should help identifying the component (page 18).
